Terms of Service

1. What KitYards provides

KitYards is a collection of browser-based utilities offered free of charge. There are no accounts, no subscriptions and no hidden fees. You may use the tools for personal, educational or commercial purposes, including for client work, without asking permission and without attribution.

2. Your content stays yours

We claim no rights whatsoever over anything you process with these tools. Since the content never reaches us — it is processed in your own browser — we could not claim anything even if we wanted to. Files you merge, images you resize and text you convert remain entirely yours, as does whatever the tools produce from them.

3. Provided "as is"

The tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Verify anything that matters before relying on it: check that a merged PDF contains every page you expected, confirm a generated password is accepted before you discard the old one, and review converted data before importing it somewhere that matters.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential damage arising from use of this site. Because processing happens on your device, the realistic risks are your browser running out of memory on a very large file or a result that does not meet your expectations — keep your original files until you have confirmed the output.

5. Acceptable use

Use KitYards lawfully. Do not use it to process material that is illegal in your jurisdiction, and do not attempt to disrupt the site or overload it through automated requests. Since every tool runs locally, there is no shared capacity to exhaust — but scraping or republishing the site as your own remains off-limits.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the site online and the tools working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and tools may change or be retired. If a tool is important to your workflow, remember that a loaded page keeps working offline — including after we would have stopped hosting it.

7. Advertising and third-party services

The site is funded by advertising and uses a small number of third-party services described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Advertisements are supplied by Google and its partners; we do not control and are not responsible for the content of individual ads or the sites they lead to.

8. Intellectual property

The KitYards name, design and the code behind the site belong to us. The output you produce with the tools does not.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Any revision will be reflected here with a new last-updated date, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
